Official Rules

  • The Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour will begin on April 25, 2026.

  • Entries must be on the official Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour passport. There is no purchase necessary to participate. Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour passports are available at participating Missouri independent bookshops.

  • Participants are responsible for collecting the official 2026 Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour sticker at each participating bookshop.

  • Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing of all entries received on or before the deadline. 

  • Entries eligible for more than one prize tier will be included in those additional drawings. One prize per person. 

  • Winners will be contacted via email and may choose at which participating bookshop they would like to redeem their gift certificate. 

  • Contest deadline is Aug. 31, 2026. Contest organizers and participating bookshops are not responsible for late, illegible or lost passports.

  • All rights reserved. Contest organizers have the unrestricted right to restrict, modify or change these contest rules and to reject any entry that does not conform to these rules. Any and all disputes regarding this contest shall be resolved at the sole discretion of contest organizers.

How The Tour Works

  1. Start the Tour by stopping into one of the 33 participating indie bookshops across Missouri to pick up your free literary passport or download it below by clicking the button.

  2. Visit as many bookshops as you can from April 25 (Independent Bookstore Day) through August 31, 2026. Be sure to collect a sticker (also referred to as a stamp) on your passport at each bookshop you visit.

  3. The more bookshops you visit, the more chances you have to win prizes!

  4. Leave your completed passport with the last bookshop you plan to visit on or before August 31 to qualify to win the prizes!

Prizes

  • Visit 5+ bookshops for the chance to win one of five (5) $25 gift cards to the bookshop of your choice.

  • Visit 10+ bookshops for the chance to win one of four (4) $50 gift cards to the bookshop of your choice.

  • Visit 20+ bookshops for the chance to win one of three (3) $100 gift cards to the bookshop of your choice.

  • Visit 30+ bookshops for the chance to win one of two (2) $250 gift cards to the bookshop of your choice and a free audio book from Libro.fm.

  • Visit ALL participating bookshops and earn a Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour tote.
